I am still getting a lot of questions in regards to the 300 rep workout so I decided to release the original 300-rep Spartan workout used by the cast of the movie "300". (demonstrated by Craig of

The rules are simple.

Perform all the exercises below in order without any scheduled break in between sets.

a) Pullups - 25 reps
b) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 50 reps
c) Pushups - 50 reps
d) 24-inch Box jumps - 50 reps
e) Floor wipers - 50 reps
f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 36lb Kettlebell - 50 reps
g) Pullups - 25 reps

Keep in mind that this is a one-time test only and NOT designed for beginners. I completed this one-time test in 20 minutes and 37 seconds.

Re: 300 Workout VS 500 Bodyweight Workout




My buddy Craig Ballantyne of Turbulence Training Secrets http://www.TurbulenceTrainingSecrets.com
challenged me to do his 500 Bodyweight Challenge.

Craig did it in 27 minutes. I did it in 28 minutes. Yes, I lost to Craig by one minute. I am going to try it again in a week to see if I can beat his record.

However, the question is: How do YOU match up with us? Try the 500 bodyweight challenge yourself and let us know if you can do better.

There is only one rule for this challenge: Perform all the exercises below in a short of a period as possible.

50 Prisoner Squats
50 Pushups
25 Straight Jumps
25 Leg Curls
50 Stability Ball Jackknives
50 Step Ups
25 Pullups
50 Lunges
50 Close Grip Pushups
50 Bodyweight Rows
50 Bodweight Squats
25 Chinups

Note: You can take as much break as you need and even break down the reps if needed. For example, you can do 25 prisoner squats, take a break, and do another 25 reps for a total of 50 reps.

2.  Interval Training:

This is a very big pieces of the puzzle.  Based on research, interval training is the most effective way to boost your metabolism compared to the traditional aerobic training (e.i jogging for 30-60 minutes).
